DESCRIPTION:Join us for hors d'oeuvres\, drinks\, and networking to celebrate National Small Business Month!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs part of our efforts to provide resources to small businesses\, there will be a short presentation on the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund Express Grant Program. Administered by the Commonwealth Corporation\, the Express Grant program provides employers with fast\, simple access to up to $3\,000/employee/course in grant-funded workforce training in a wide array of areas including leadership\, management\, planning\, strategy\, operations\, marketing\, sales\, customer service\, HR\, and more. \n \n\nOur guest speaker will be Robin Samora\, who is a training provider with the Express Grant program. As part of the program\, Robin offers training on marketing\, PR\, and social media with 100% reimbursement to businesses and non-profits that qualify. Robin refers to these small business grants as the "best secret in town." Robin will talk about the application process\, what is required to qualify\, and what participants can expect from courses. \n\n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nCommonwealth Corporation is a quasi-public agency that was established in 1996 under the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. \n\n \n\nEast Cambridge Savings Bank is a mutual bank headquartered in Cambridge and has had a presence in the Arlington community since 2006.
