| According to the American Red Cross\, which has partnered with Armstrong for this drive\, donated blood means the difference between life and death for patients in emergency situations\, as well as those undergoing surgeries and cancer treatments. | \n
| Donors must sign up in advance and may do so by clicking \;here. Donors should plan to spend up to an hour donating\, but they can save time on the day of the drive by using the Red Cross \;Rapid Pass \;to complete their pre-donation reading and health history questions. | \n
