DESCRIPTION:Arlington's homegrown music dance party makes its rockin' return on Sunday June 18 at 6pm (rescheduled due to rain).\n\nWe'll feature the local band BackPocket\, tuning up now for its appearance at Arlington's coolest outdoor venue\, Arlington Global Service Station on Mass Ave. Abe's gas station gets a re-design with a stage and some sound equipment\, and we'll close a side street for room to dance!\n\nBackPocket is an ensemble originally from Morningside Music Studio\, featuring local accomplished musicians and Cuban-born percussionist along with backup singers "The Torchtones." The band looks forward to sparking your urge to dance and fully enjoy a summer evening.\n\nDON'T MISS THE FUN!!\n\nOnce the last tunes of Arlington Center for the Arts' Porchfest fade to an echo\, make your way via public transit\, bike\, foot\, wheels\, wagon\, wings to Abe's at 334 Massachusetts Avenue for a good time dancing to rock and roll.\n\nGarage Band is a free\, family-friendly event brought to you by the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture at ArtsArlington.org.
