SUMMARY:Holiday Drive for Arlington Residents in Need
DESCRIPTION:LEAP Arlington MA and Kim Holt are running a holiday drive with the Housing Corp of Arlington\, the Arlington Public School System\, and Arlington Youth Counseling Center (AYCC). This year they have already identified over 50 children and teens\, most of whom have a single parent\, who are at risk of having very little if anything for the holidays. They have also identified approx. 50 senior citizens and another 35 persons with significant disabilities are at risk of being alone\, and not having any gifts\, this holiday season. The majority of the families desperately need winter coats\, boots\, other shoes and clothes\, and things like scarves\, hats\, and gloves for the kids\, and also the parents. Most have no decorations or things to make the holiday cheerful\, and barely have enough food to get through a normal month. Seniors are in similar situations. \n\n\n\nIf you are able to help by donating gifts\, toys\, and gift certificates\, wrapping paper\, and gift bags\, and grocery gift cards\, please contact Kim Holt at 781-219-7619 or kimkayholt@gmail.com.
