DESCRIPTION:The Old Schwamb Mill's Fall Open House will feature continuous tours of the Mill (11 am-1:45 pm) Mill (11 am-1:45 pm)\, live music by Foggy Mountain Consort (2-3:30 pm) and the closing reception for the Vernon Street\, Somerville Artists' Exhibit (3:30-5 pm). Foggy Mountain Consort draws from the vast repertoire of "collected" ballads from the British Isles by Francis James Child in the late 19th century\, these and other tunes\, sometime familiar\, always haunting and heartfelt\, offer a deep hunting ground for these musicians. The Foggy Mountain Consort also plays old style bluegrass in its own eclectic way. Free\, with a suggested donation of $5.00
