DESCRIPTION:Don't miss Arlington's favorite Celtic music duo "Matt and Shannon Heaton." Join us for our final concert in our summer evening music series at the Old Schwamb Mill. Performances are held outdoors in the beautiful setting of Mill Pond Park and indoors by inclement weather. You are invited to bring along a picnic to enjoy along with the music! Suggested donation $5. Refreshments served.\n \n\nSince their move to Boston in 2001\, the Heatons have become an integral part of Boston's vibrant traditional music scene. Shannon co-founded Boston's Celtic music fest and served on its board for 15 years\, creating performance and mentoring opportunities for hundreds of traditional musicians and dancers. She was named Massachusetts Traditional Artist Fellow in 2016.\n\n \n\nMatt has performed with countless ensembles\, including the Karan Casey Band\, Bos of the Lough\, and Robbie O'Connell. In addition to his work as an Irish accompanist on guitar and bouzouki\, Matt is an active performer for children and families.
