Ave\, Arlington.\n\n \n\nThe evening will begin with our Strawberry and Ice Cream Festival held in the Gardens beside the Town Hall from 6:00 7:30 PM with entertainment by Davey the Clown and Liberty Bones Brass Ensemble. The concert will begin indoors at 7:30 PM. \n\n \n\nThis year's Pops Concert theme is "Celebrating Arlington250". The Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra\, conducted by Orlando Cela\, will feature the suite from "Hamilton" by Lin-Manuel Miranda\, selections from William Grant Still's "Afro-American Symphony"\, and a special performance of Aaron Copland's "Our Town"\, featuring readings about Arlington by local poets in the foreground. The Arlington-Belmont Chorale\, conducted by Stephanie Beatrice\, will perform a variety of works with themes of local history\, liberty and universal freedoms. The orchestra and chorale will join together to perform Andre Thomas's "I Dream a World" with lyrics by Langston Hughes. As is the tradition of Pops\, the evening will end with "The Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa.\n\n \n\nTickets: Strawberries and ice cream $5.
