Join Arlington’s State Rep. Sean Garballey co-chair of the Special Commission on 250th Anniversary Celebration of the American Revolution, and members of Arlington Historical Society and Arlington 250 for a reading of the Declaration of Independence as it arrives in “old Menotomy”.
The faithful replicas of Ezekiel Russell’s 1776 Declaration were faithfully hand-printed by Gary Gregory using 18th cent. techniques in a project coordinated by Rev250 and will be sent to all 351 communities in Massachusetts.
Join us for its arrival and reading on the lawn of the Jason Russell House! (In case of rain, event will move inside the adjacent Arlington Historical Society Smith Museum.)
