Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture seeks proposals for an exciting pilot program of art in storefront windows. We are currently looking for installations to activate a new street-side window gallery at the Music Studios of Arlington Center located at 399 Mass Ave. Four proposals will be selected to fill two-month slots during 2018-19, beginning in May. Jurors include Martina Tanga, Koch Curatorial Fellow at the DeCordova Museum, and members of the ACAC.
• Successful proposals of installation, painting, sculpture, video, or photography will be easily read from a distance, visually exciting, and appropriate for the location, a busy main street close to Arlington Center
• Selected artists will receive an honorarium of $200
• Dimensions of the window: 98" h x 35” d x 40" w. There is an electric outlet inside the space

• Sketches and a brief description of your proposal
• CV
• artist statement
• 5 jpegs no larger than 3 MB, labeled: last name_title, along with an image list detailing title, dimensions, and medium.
