Dennis Brennan Band Live

Celebrating Leland’s 25 Years at the Regent

“Rock, Blues, Roots—all around Soulful crooning backed by the baddest musicians around”

Celebrate Leland Stein’s 25 Years at the Regent with a fantastic night of music!  The beloved (and original!) Dennis Brennan Band, featuring Duke Levine, Kevin Barry, Richard Gates, and Billy Beard will ignite the stage and raise the roof for over two hours of electrifying tunes–as they did for over a decade during their legendary residency at the Lizard Lounge.

Though incomparable in many ways, Dennis Brennan is Boston’s answer to the likes of Graham Parker, Bruce Springsteen, Leonard Cohen and Elvis Costello, and for good reason: His songwriting has earned him respect from both critics and fellow musicians with a voice that effortlessly navigates through classic country, R&B, jazz, rock, and blues. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to his music, this is a night you won’t want to miss! Doors open at 8:15 PM and don’t expect to leave your seat until Midnight, so grab your friends and come enjoy a memorable evening filled with fantastic tunes and great vibes!

Acclaimed by Steve Morse–the sorely missed Boston Globe journalist and tireless supporter of the Boston Music Scene–Dennis formed the DBB in 1992 and started his solo career, quickly releasing two critically acclaimed recordings on Upstart Records, a division of Rounder. In 2000 he released “Rule #1” on ESCA Records which resulted in glowing reviews from The New Yorker, The Chicago Sun Times, The Boston Phoenix as well as other publications worldwide. These recordings showcase Brennan’s ability “to not just tip toes into genres, he strips naked and plunges right in.” Bill Holmes, AMPLIFIER.
