Please Join The Center for Cancer Support & Education to honor Jenn Tripp, founder and organizer of Shoot for the Cure as their Hero for 2013. Jenn was selected for this award for her work in the community in starting Shoot for the Cure as a fundraiser for the Avon 2 Day walk. When she raised more funds than needed for the walk, she began donating it to others affected by cancer in need and to other fundraisers for events such as the Pan Mass Challenge. When asked, she replied ?its all about giving back to the community?. Jenn will be honored at the Center?s Still Reaching for the Stars Annual Dinner Dance. Dancing ? Buffet Dinner ? Cash Bar ? Raffles ? Silent Auction ? Free Parking ? Handicapped Accessible. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Center for Cancer Support & Education, a 501c3 charitable organization which provides support groups and wellness activities for those touched by cancer ? patients, family members, and caregivers ? from Arlington and the surrounding communities.
