Description
Now in it's second year, Chairful Where You Sit is a temporary outdoor art installation featuring re-imagined chairs created by local artists and community members. It is an installation that people may sit on as well as a fundraiser for Arlington Public Art. Chairs may be purchased by the public to help support Arlington Public Art?s programs and events. We invite you to find an old chair and make it better/more interesting/fun by painting or decorating it! To see images from last year, visit www.chairful.blogspot.com. All chairs will be available for purchase by the public for a donation of at least $100 and will support Arlington Public Art?s future events. A selection of chairs will be auctioned on eBay. Artists may request 50% of the purchase price or may donate the full sale amount to APA.
