Join us as Seth A. Goodall, the New England Regional Administrator of the Small Business Administration , discusses funds available to small businesses.
Seth was appointed by President Obama to serve as SBA’s New England Regional Administrator on July 10, 2013. As regional administrator, Goodall oversees SBA’s six New England district offices and is responsible for the delivery of the agency’s financial and technical assistance and government contracting activities throughout New England.
Prior to joining SBA, Goodall worked as an attorney at Augusta, Maine-based Dyer Goodall P.A., where he represented municipalities, individuals and small businesses. In addition, Goodall was first elected to the Maine State Senate in 2008 and re-elected in 2010 when he was elected to serve as Senate Majority Leader. He was also appointed to the Maine Economic Growth Council.
Prior to Goodall’s legal and political careers, he and his brother founded Goodall Landscaping in 1990 which has grown to 10 full-time and nearly 50 seasonal employees.
Goodall earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Connecticut. In 2005, he earned his law degree from the University of Maine School of Law.
