Family Event: Capoeira, Connections, & Community! Saturday, January 20 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Join Lesley Ellis for a fun morning featuring their Arts Block group, Sinha' Capoeira Boston and Lesley Ellis School's award-winning anti-bias curriculum. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art and game that includes elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. They will run two introductory workshops/demonstrations and classrooms will also be open to see their anti-bias curriculum displayed throughout the school.
