About the New England Musicians Resource Fund (NEMRF:

NEMRF was founded in 2020 to help provide financial relief to freelance musicians facing severe hardship during the Covid pandemic, and is marking their 5-year anniversary. Since September 2024, the New England Musicians Resource Fund (NEMRF) has increased relief grants by 36% and launched three emergency campaigns to support musicians facing sudden health crises. That’s what NEMRF is all about. Being there when a musician has nowhere else to turn. Whether it was a pandemic 5 years ago, a blizzard that wipes out gigs, or a health emergency that sidelines a performer, we’re here to help. You can help keep this safety net strong that supports professional freelance musicians in a crisis. We know that when musicians are supported, the whole world sounds better.
