NEMRF was founded in 2020 to help provide financial relief to freelance musicians facing severe hardship during the Covid pandemic, and is marking their 5-year anniversary. Since September 2024, the New England Musicians Resource Fund (NEMRF) has increased relief grants by 36% and launched three emergency campaigns to support musicians facing sudden health crises.
