Arlington Friends of the Drama opens its 2024-2025 Season with the musical comedy "The Drowsy Chaperone" Directed by Arlington resident Paul Murphy.
Feeling a little blue? Then join Arlington Friends' "Man in Chair" for a rousing musical comedy treat: The Drowsy Chaperone. Wedding plans go awry when a producer tries to upend his leading lady's nuptials, while the best man tries to keep everyone on track, including the tipsy chaperone. Set in the roaring 20s, this show will keep you laughing and humming its unforgettable score long after you leave the theater. The Drowsy Chaperone is the winner of five Tony awards, including best book and musical score.
