Description
Join us to learn about the Validation Method, a globally acclaimed protocol for dementia care. The Validation Method takes a holistic approach and is rooted in the understanding that unusual behaviors expressed by dementia sufferers are often due to a combination of cognitive, physical, and social losses, and represent an attempt to express unresolved feelings and emotions. This presentation on the Validation Method will assist caregivers in gaining an understanding of the world of those experiencing memory loss, and will provide caregivers with tools for making more meaningful connections with their loved ones.
