Joanne Chang will share her unlikely journey from a Harvard math degree to founding Flour Bakery + Cafe and Myers+Chang, now beloved Boston institutions with locations across the region. She'll reflect on the pivotal decisions and hard-won lessons behind building a business from the ground up — from perfecting a recipe to leading a team to staying true to her identity and roots as an Asian American entrepreneur. Attendees will leave with practical takeaways on resilience, reinvention, and what it really takes to grow a small business into a lasting brand. Each attendee has the chance to win one of her cookbooks and have it signed by her.
