About Us
The Arlington Friends of the Drama, now known as AFD Theatre, was founded in 1923 and is one of the ten oldest continually operating community theatre groups in the United States. An all-volunteer group which produces four shows per year, members of the Arlington community can participate as volunteers, members or subscribers, doing everything from building sets, to auditioning for shows, ushering or sewing costumes. Several member business meetings throughout the year are good ways to meet new friends and get involved.
